okay, despite the many things that are waiting for me to accomplish, i've set out time to blog! see? how nice.okay, so about the phuket trip-awesome.
first day
had to wake up at 545, and got ready. we dragged the luggage noisily down the pathway to where our taxi was waiting for us. we took two taxis to the airport. i sat with my dad on one, and my sis, bro and mum on the other, cause we had lots of luggages. and halfway through the journey, i felt some soft thing banging on my head. so i looked up and saw this barbie doll thing swaying. it was freaky yes. but, its just a doll.
we reached the airport, used the internet, ate breakfast, walked around. and finally, into the plane.
i dislike plane rides. but it was alright, this time. when we boarded the plane, we saw many angmoh people. so i was like, are we going to america or something. but turned out, correct. slept throughout the 1h30min journey. quite short though.
reached there, went to Marriott Vacation Club's reception. the resort was fantastic. it turned out muchmuch better than i expected. like singapore. we were served with a very thirst quenching welcome drink which was like orange? but it didn't taste like it at all.
sis thought it was carrot juice, but my bro was like, carrot wouldn't taste so nice.
so yeah. after about 30mins at the reception, we finally got into our rooms. i was like.. omg. so nice. cause i didn't think thailand's resort would be that nice.
it was big, with rooms. so my sis and bro shared a room with me. while my parents master bedroom toilet was huge seriously!
we watched abit of tv, settled down. then we changed into our swimsuits and went down for a wonderful lunch before going to the beach.
during lunch, my sis said," wow, the prawn is the best i've taken. so chewy."
then my bro said," imagine if the prawn family heard that, they would be so sad."
hahah, so funny:)
then ,we took a buggy to the beach. i sat at the back and it was just uh..veryveryvery fun, going backwards. woohoo. okay so the beach, was just standing there admiring the beautiful waves crashing on the shore. after that, we went to the resorts pool and swam there.
okay, so went back up to bath. after bathing, it was night time. we were walking through a kinda narrow foresty area, and there was three big beatles. and bro and i were the last. everyone was scared of the beatles and rushed out. and without letting me go first, my bro went out first. hhaha. so over that matter, we were laughing like mad.
we headed to a thai restaurant in another resort. it was so posh, and cold! but the food was kinda okay. so we went back to the resort, and watched more tv, and slept.
second day
my parents woke up at 8 and went to the beach, while my bro sis and i were still sleeping like a pig in the room. after a while, i went out with my sis. woke my brother up at 10. then we went downstairs for breakfast buffet.
we started going out and taking our food. my sis ordered 2 eggs for me and herself, because my bro said he didn't want to have it.
so we took other food like the fried rice and the super dry noodles and much more. then when we were eating, the egg came. we couldn't finish those 2 eggs, and my brother went to order another egg before we did. so 3 eggs.
we didn't finish it. we tried it put it together so it'll look lesser. yeah. so we only finished one pathetic egg.
we walked with bloated stomachs back to our room, dressed up to go out to patong beach. the taxi journey was 30mins. so long right? so i spent that time sleeping, again. when we reached, we walked through a very singapore-like shopping centre to the beach. the long stretched beach, filled with almost 200 chairs and many many angmohs.
when we stepped inside the beach, the thai's kept asking us if we wanted to go water jet, or banana boat or whatever things. so we declined and walked and walked. many people swimming in the sea. so we walked for 1 hour and played with the water. and some women angmohs were walking topless. topless! how gross right. yes.
after that, me and bro went to subway while my sis and parents went for a massage. waited and ate chips. played a veryvery fun game:)
when we were all done, we went for our lunch at another resort. before the food was served, my brother accidentaly poured a glass of cold water on my legs when i was half awake, cause i was sleeping before that while waiting for the food. yeah, and it woke me up. really. the food was good;D nice. i love tomyum soup much:)
we went back to the shopping centre and walked for very long, before stopping by carrefour. bought tomyum maggi mee, fruits, corns, chips, snacks, drinks.
after that, we went to kfc and rested our legs. bought back alot of food for dinner. went back to the resort at 9. bathed and washed up. ate our dinner.
we had family talks again:) that was filled with much fun and laughter and joy.
third day
dad went for his golf game in the morning. bro and mum went to buffet breakfast, while me and sis stayed in the room and ate cake. housekeeping came. watched movies. after that, my bro and mum came back. we went to the beach. mum was picking seashells. while the three silblings, us, was enjoying the waves. although we cant go very far in the sea, cause the waves were really really strong, we enjoyed being pushed back and forth by the waves. some waves are really really really big. as high as my bro. and he was swept back. ahahh. soon my dad came. parents went to walk to the far end of the beach. sis and bro were playing with the waves. guess what i
was doing?????CATCHING CRABS!
it's so fun okay? i start hopping around chasing the crabs and pouring sand over them so they cant run away. i start spreading out the sand. and when i find them, i grab them:) so fun right? yes, i know. haha. although they are small, they are really strong. i mean when i was holding it, it tried to pinch me with its pincers, and it did. but it was so small that it only could pinch my skin. and if i try to pull it away, i bet you the whole pincers would come out. ahaha. so i put it back on the ground and start finding more.
intotal, i caught about 10? i think so. anws i caught alot.
but i chased some until they were so near the sea that the waves washed them into the sea. and i couldn'tfind them afterwards. and i accidentaly plucked out some of their legs.
okay, so.. we went back to our room for lunch. we cooked ourselves, tomyum maggi mee. super delicous. very yummy.
after eating, we went to swim i think. i cant really remember. then my parents went for a talk. then me, sis and bro went to the playroom and borrowed dvds. and that reminds me, they owe me $7 cause we didn't have the dvd finding nemo at home, and they wanted to choose their own movies. okay ,so we ended up picking monsters inc( is it?) the show was nice. i like boo.
after watching, we wanted to go down to swim, but the resort beside ours was fumigating, so it was a little stinky. so we decided to go to the beach.
found a very nice spot and laid our things there. played with crabs and the waves till about 630 plus, where my bro suddenly came and asked us to move all our things cause there were many many beatles flying around that area. disgusting.
so we moved, i continued catching crabs and scaring my sis with them. and my bro throwed a crab at me>:( evil. i caught a big big crab. but i moved too much and scared me that i dropped it on the sand. watched the sunset, and went back to the resort.
swam there. and went up. ate dinner at the cafe.
fourth day
the last day. woke up, me and sis went down for breakfast, while dad went for golf again,bro and mum stayed home and ate tomyum maggi mee for breakfast. we ordered tomyum soup. and my sis wanted glass noodles. but the guy didn't understand,so she ordered egg noodles, which is actually a dish by itself. and so my sis came back telling me that she ordered the wrong thing and asked me to go and order tomyum soup. luckily i didn't order cause yes, the tomyum soup was delivered. no repeat of history. then after that, we went to the beach, catched more crabs. then we went to the resort's pool and swim. and in the pool, i ordered coconut juice.
and there was like stools facing the pub there, in the pool. so i was sitting in the pool, and drinking in the pub too. cool huh? it is to me. i find it super cool . although my mum say its very common. chatted with the pub guy, who was very friendly. my sis spilled coconut juice in the pool, and she dropped the orange slice in the pool too. it made me laughing so much.
after that, we went up to bath. checked out of the hotel. and went to the other marriott. we walked around, and ate lunch there. the portionwas huge. extremely huge.i ate fish and chips:) we were full to the max. then we went to the airport. and we stayed there for 2 hours. can you imagine, so long, doing nothing. nothing at all. so i slept with kmy phone on my hand, and my dad took it away without me knowing. so i checked and checked, couldn't find. when i asked my bro and sis, they kept laughin like mad la. in the plane still dont wanna return me. then ate chicken in the plane.
reached singapore. took two taxi's home, i was with dad. and i searchedd his bag and found my phone there. hmm. okay. so reached home at 1030 plus. home sweet home.
bye sunburn.. ouch.
so many tasks to be done.
